The Best New HEB Products in 2023

HEB regularly launches new products in stores, here's what they've brought us in 2023 that you don't want to miss.

Lone Stars - Baked Cheddar Snacks

HEB's new cheddar snack is one of my favorite products of the year. They taste almost exactly like a Goldfish, but with a bigger air pocket in the middle that creates a unique texture and crunch.

They're also in the shape of a star with a wink face on it. He even has a name. "Howdy y'all, I'm Wink," it says on the back of the bag. This character makes the snack so much more fun in my opinion. I need a Wink kids book and a Wink mascot walking around the store with H-E-Buddy stat.

Creme Brulee Limited Edition Creamy Creations

The Spring lineup of Creamy Creations Limited Edition flavors was absolutely top-notch this year, but one flavor stood out from the rest, and that was the creme brulee ice cream. Oh man, did they nail this. The custard ice cream itself is delicious, and there are little pieces of crystalized sugar like the top of a creme brulee that add a nice crunch. Get it before it leaves the shelf.

Cranberry Lemonade

Is it a lemonade or a limeade? It's both! I was obsessed with this new addition to the fresh squeezed juice section this January. It consists of freshly squeezed lemons and limes paired with cranberry juice from concentrate and the result is magical.

Their other in-store lemonades are just a bit too sour for me but the Cranberry Lemonade is sweeter and has a good flavor balance. Add some vodka and crushed ice and you have yourself a party.

Korean BBQ Chips

Sadly these Limited Edition Chips have already left the shelves, but the Korean BBQ flavor will stick with us as one of the best new flavors HEB has debuted. Sweet and tangy bbq flavor with a hint of spice, wrapped up in this gorgeous pink bag. You will be missed!

Meal Simple Cherry White Chocolate Cookie Cobbler

Early this year, HEB launched several Meal Simple dessert options: 3 Cobblers, Brookie, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Sopapilla Cheesecake. The Cherry Cobbler just happens to be my favorite. It's topped with white chocolate macadamia nut cookies and the combo is epic. I don't even really think it needs ice cream, it's perfect all by itself.

These deserts are all $7, and you just pop them in the oven. So easy.

Mootopia Ice Cream

Mootopia is HEB's lactose-free, low-sugar, high-protein milk brand that now also comes in cottage cheese and ice cream! Magically, this tastes almost exactly like regular ice cream and has about half the calories per serving.

HEB Bakery Tortilla Blanket

The HEB Bakery Flour Tortilla blanket will help you wrap up like a cozy burrito. This throw is a decent size at 70" in diameter and is super soft. They're only available at stores that have HEB Brand Shop and seem to be selling out quickly at the moment.

Tubing Texas River Cooler Floats

HEB is offering three new cooler floats to hit the river this summer. The Double River Tube has a cooler in the middle and tall backrests (genius) and the Drink Cooler has a secure latch of some sort, which hopefully, prevents you from losing your items downstream.

Texas Pets Dental Sticks

HEB Texas Pets dental sticks will now be a staple in my house, coming in at a much lower price point than competitors. These also work better for my pup's breath than Minties do - shocking but true. If your pet has sensitivities, HEB Heritage Ranch has a grain-free dental stick that might work better for you.

4 New Sunscreen Scents!

Gosh, I love the sunscreen scents HEB puts out each year. Last year's scents were a little funky with a watermelon sherbet and birthday cake option, but the 2023 lineup is exquisite. Cucumber Water, Rosewater, Strawberry Daiquiri, and Peach Bellini.
